September 8th September 12th September 16th September 23rd September 24th September 29th [ top ] September 12th With the increased interest in commuting alternatives, CommuteInfo is going to try something new to help let even more people know about its services. CommuteInfo is hosting its first-ever webinar. Employers, commuters, etc. can log in from anywhere and view the presentation and then ask questions. The “formal” overview part of the program will last about 20 - 30 minutes. The rest of the time is reserved for answering questions from those in attendance. This webinar is tailored more for employers but is open to all. What: “Get to Know CommuteInfo Webinar” [ top ] September 18 & 19, 2008 SPC is again partnering with the Penn State Land Analysis Laboratory to offer one, 2-day GIS software training session, focusing on Environmental Systems Research Institute’s (ESRI) ArcView / ArcGIS 9.x software and available regional data resources to address the needs of our member counties, local governments and associated agencies. What: Introduction to ArcGIS Registrants will receive a letter of confirmation, preliminary materials, directions to SPC and information on parking. Course availability is dependent on participant registration. There is significant demand for this training, so please register as soon as possible. In the event that the class must be cancelled for any reason, all registrants will be contacted.
