Slippery Rock DownTown Streetscape Project, Phase II 1,400 lineal feet of streetscape improvements on Franklin Street between School Dr and Grove City Rd, including sidewalks with decorative stone paving and handicap accessibility, historic style decorative street lighting with underground service, electrical receptacles for holiday and festival light displays, street trees, landscaping, improved pedestrian crossings, planters, benches, trash receptacles, and gateway entrance signage. |
Downtown Streetscape Complete replacement of the existing streetscape in the core five block central business district. |
Safe Sidewalks Replacement of approximately 3,000 feet of broken and damaged sidewalks on a walking route to the elementary school. Work will include removal of the existing materials, placement of new base materials, construction of new sidewalks, and landscaping. Handicapped accessible ramps will also be installed. |
Trail Town Project, Streetscape: Phase I Streetscape improvements and trail connections in downtown, including sidewalk improvements, street trees, decorative pedestrian lighting with underground utility service, planters, benches, trash receptacles, signage, and bike parking along the entire corridor, as well as pedestrian crossings and traffic calming measures to improve intersection and pedestrian safety at key locations. |
Hometown Streets Sidewalk and streetscaping improvements in the City of Greensburg, including removal of existing inlaid bricks and replacement with brick stamped concrete. Pedestrian crossings will be upgraded with textured concrete and new pavement markings. Six large planters and ten benches will also be provided. |
Hometown Streets Provides for the construction of four raised, brick-stamped concrete pedestrian crossings on Main Street and also includes removal and replacement of 1,230 feet of sidewalk on both sides of Main Street. |
Crest Avenue Sidewalk Improvements Installation of sidewalks, pedestrian crosswalks, and handicapped accessible ramps to connect Belle Vernon High School and Belle Vernon Middle School. The project also involves the installation of a radar speed indicator to slow the speed of drivers during school hours and events. |
Hometown Streets Phase III (final phase) of streetscape improvement program that includes decorative lighting, benches, banner arms and hanging planter baskets, signage, trash receptacles and bike racks along North Pittsburgh Street from West Crawford Avenue to the intersection of Route 119 and along South Pittsburgh Street from West Crawford Avenue to Fairview Avenue. |
Historic Village of Hopwood, Phase III Includes installation of sidewalks, trash receptacles, benchs, landscaping and landscaping islands along U.S. 40, the National Road, in North Union and South Union Townships. |
Gen. George C. Marshall Plan 2 - Downtown Revitalization Project Streetscape enhancements along Morgantown and Main Streets as part of a comprehensive revitalization effort. This project will include sidewalk improvements, new street lights, trash receptacles, planters, signage, and improved pedestrian crossings. |
3rd Street Streetscape Improvement Project Removal of existing deteriorated sidewalks and curbs along 3rd Street. New sidewalks and curbs, crosswalks, improved lighting, and street trees will be installed. |
Central Business District Revitalization Project Phase III Utility relocation, sidewalk and curb installation, lighting, trees, and signage along South Main Street from Railroad Street to Park Avenue. |
Westinghouse Middle School Area Sidewalks & Lighting Replacement of deteriorated sidewalks and curbing, and addition of street lighting in front of Westinghouse Middle School along Commerce, Herman, and Westinghouse Avenues in Wilmerding. This project will include handicapped accessible ramps and underground utilities for street lighting as well. |
Frick Park Sidewalks Replacement of deteriorated sidewalks along East 10th, East 11th and Ann Streets near Barrett Elementary School and Propel School in Homestead. The schools have a combined enrollment of over 500 children, most of whom walk to school using these sidewalks. This project will build on the revitalization efforts the Borough has done through DCED's Main Street and Elm Street programs. |
Glaser Avenue & North Avenue Sidewalks Design, layout, and construction of sidewalks on Glaser Avenue and North Avenue in the Borough of Bellevue for use by the students at the Northgate Junior and Senior High School. These streets are designated as the principal walking route to the school but currently do not have sidewalks along their full length. |
Main Street Streetscape Project Removal of existing deteriorated sidewalks and curbs along 3rd Street. New sidewalks and curbs, crosswalks, improved lighting, and street trees will be installed. |
Forbes/Fifth Ave Pedestrian Safety & Mobility Improvements Pedestrian safety and mobility improvements along five and a half blocks of Forbes Avenue and four blocks of Fifth Avenue by installing textured crosswalks, new street lighting, pedestrian wayfinding kiosks and signage, replacing some sidewalks and curbs, and installing audible pedestrian signals. |
East Liberty-EastSide Development Public Space Improvements Construction of a pedestrian bridge over the East Busway to link East Liberty and Shadyside. This project is part of an innovative public-private economic development venture. |
Commercial Revitalization Ph. 1 - Ardmore Blvd Reinvestment in Forest Hills downtown through redevelopment of 1,000 linear feet of Ardmore Boulevard (SR 30) from Marion Avenue to Sumner Avenue. Work items include installation of innovative speed indication signs, installation of in-pavement crosswalk lights, decorative street lights, landscaped median strip, improved and new bus shelters, concrete walkway, and street trees. |
