Update of the Draft 2013-2016 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Southwestern Pennsylvania SPC staff completed coordination of Program of Projects listings for the region’s transit project sponsors in preparation for submission of the draft 2013-2016 TIP, which includes 256 transit projects totaling investments of over $1.3 billion, including over $1 billion in systems operation, $221 million in systems preservation and maintenance, and nearly $73 million for replacement of buses that have reached or exceeded their useful life.
