Public Meeting – Allegheny County

When:

June 8 at 6:00 PM

Where:

Virtual Event

What:

As the designated metropolitan planning organization (MPO), we manage the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) for our ten-county region in SWPA. Several years ago, we adopted our region’s official long-range transportation plan called SmartMoves for a Changing Region, which included over $35 billion of regional transportation priorities for the next 25 years. As part of our efforts to update the plan, we host public meetings for residents to learn about our region’s long-term transportation and infrastructure challenges. Whether you have questions about the way transportation and infrastructure planning works, or you have an issue you’d like to see addressed, please attend our meeting and meet with our staff members. We would be pleased to speak with you and answer any questions that you might have! We will be joined by PennDOT representatives and your local government officials. You can read the Long-Range Transportation Plan here. If you can’t attend our meetings, you can still provide us with your comments during the public comment period. Learn more about that process here.
