Open Records Request

Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101 et seq. (RTKL), members of the public have the right to request access to public records maintained by the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC). If you would like to request a record, please submit it to the Open Records Officer in writing via mail, email, or in person at the following address:

The records request must include the following information:

  1. Name, address, phone number, and email (if used for communication) of the requestor
  2. A description of the requested materials that are sufficient to identify and locate the records
  3. Individuals requesting records will receive a response within five (5) business days from the date the request is received by the Open Records Officer. At that time, requestors will be notified of any associated fees (if applicable), or if a 30-day extension is necessary to process the request.
