Public Meeting on Washington County’s Transportation and Infrastructure Projects

When:

May 22 at 3:00 PM

Where:

Washington County Courthouse Square Building Rm 103 - 100 West Beau St, Washington, PA, 15301

What:

As the federally designated metropolitan planning organization (MPO), our organization is responsible for drafting and updating our region’s Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The TIP plans for short-term transportation and infrastructure projects and this plan is updated every two years. When the TIP is updated, our organization collects feedback from the public during a 30 day comment period and hosts public meetings in each one of the ten counties throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania.

At this public meeting, our staff will provide a brief summary about the local transportation and infrastructure projects that will take place in Washington County in the coming years. If you have an idea, question, or just want to learn more about how bridges, roads, and trail projects come to fruition, you won’t want to miss this meeting.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, but you would like to share your thoughts with us, please consider submitting an official comment in writing. We are accepting written comments starting May 8 – June 7 at 5 p.m. Comments can be submitted via email at comments@spcregion.org, an online input form at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SPC_Public_Input or by mail to Att: Ronda Craig, Southwestern PA Commission, 42 21st Street, Suite 101, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.
