Community Capacity Coordinator

Faith joined the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission in 2020. As our organization’s Community Capacity Coordinator, she provides technical assistance to non-profit organizations, counties, and municipalities that are seeking grants from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) and the Appalachian Region Commission (ARC). Faith works closely with our EDA partners to promote the agency’s grant opportunities and activities. This scope of work has included Faith’s involvement in supporting regional workforce development initiatives as a result of Southwestern Pennsylvania being award one of the largest grants in the nation under Build Back Better (BBB). Faith also supports grant opportunities and activities under EDA’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). Additionally, Faith works closely with several state entities including the Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) to support the department’s Partnership for Regional Economic Performance (PREP) program, the Keystone Opportunity Zone program in our region. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from the University of Pittsburgh.
