John joined the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission in 2019. As a Transportation Planner II, he helps to develop the Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP), which plans for regional transportation projects on a four year cycle. He also helps to develop the Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which plans for regional transportation projects on a 25 year cycle. Additionally, John collects and synthesizes data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) that supports the development of the TIP and LRTP. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography with a minor in Planning and Environmental Science from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
