EV Charging
Overview
PennDOT is currently looking to fund electric vehicle community charging projects as part of the National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) program. In order to select projects, PennDOT has requested feedback from local planning partners. The Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC) is leading this effort in the 10-county SWPA region. To effectively choose which locations to suggest, we would like to hear public opinion about charging locations.
Survey
We want to hear from you!
We want everyone to share their voice in this process. Please complete this survey which will provide county planners with everyone’s ideas to improve access to electric vehicle charging in our region. Your perceptions and comments will greatly help in this planning process.
After submitting the survey, a link to an interactive map program will appear. Please use the interactive map to provide site-specific input on where you would like to see charging. This map includes existing charging stations as well as several other layers that can be toggled on to assist you in selecting locations. More instructions can be found within the map program.
The Survey and Map will only take a few minutes to complete. Please respond by September 26, 2025. Thank You!
